Clanadonia – “Scottish Street Music" (Unidentified)
“Scottish Street Music" (2013)
As the YouTube heading states, this is an “awesome” piece of Scottish music. Awesome, amazing, and more energetic than one might expect.
Beyond Pipes and Whistles
When we think of Scottish music, we tend to think of pipes, whistles, accordions, and maybe a light frame drum.
Oh … and the bagpipes in the background add a nice accent.
Clanadonia
Clanadonia are a “drums and pipe band with a difference” (self-proclaimed). They have been active for over 20 years, and, as you will hear, they are still active and strong. Very strong.
Bringing Havoc and Joy to the World
They play music (and create havoc) for anyone, anywhere ... and many people have enjoyed their wild performances – recorded or live, on stage, or in the streets. (Image source)
