Hello, Dear Hivers! | Hola, Queridos Hivers!
So... IM OFFICIALLY BACK IN THE ORCHESTRA!!
I was coming back from a Choir's presentation, and suddenly the coordinator told me about a private concert the orchestra was going to give at the Hotel Venetur CumanĂ¡ where they were just going to play Marche Slave by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. "Stay sharp with next week's rehearsals.
"If you miss too many rehearsals, the teachers can take your instrument away," so she was kinda behind me to attend so they didn't take mine, and I wanted to go, but I didn't know the repertoire, so I stayed away, and occupied myself with the choir...
... Until that day.
I had already begun my individual classes, so I asked my violin teacher if he could help me learn the piece, and so he did. He was soooo helpful. I didn't play it perfectly, but I improved a lot for just one week of rehearsing.
After so much practice, and stress, the day of the concert came.
The teachers told us to be at the park before 8 o'clock am, because the bus that was going to take us to the hotel would leave at that time. My mom left at 7am to work, so I took "the ride" with her (it's on her way).
While we were waiting, my old friends and I remembered the beautiful experiences we lived when we were children at the orchestra. All the auditions we went to, the concerts, our other friends who had left the orchestra, etc. Meanwhile, we bought cotton candy. It was fantastic!
The bus arrived like at 9 đŸ™ƒ
And since they let the kids in first, we traveled standing the whole way. LOL.
When we arrived at the hotel, we took out our instruments, and they sent us to the dinning room to have breakfast. That was surprising LOL.
After that, we stayed there, still remembering how great the orchestra used to be, until they told us to go back to the hall we were going to play at.
There, after a good while, the people we were going to play to, arrived, and we played the national and state anthem, and Tchaikovsky's Marche Slave.
It was a great experience, really. I missed playing with them a lot, I didn't know how much until yesterday. And it makes me really happy to be part of something so big and beautiful!
Thanks For Stopping By!
