I'm starting a new experiment. I don't know if this is something that is common with everyone or not, but I seemingly wake up with a song already in my head every single morning. There is often no reason why it should be there. I hadn't heard it in the previous day, hadn't discussed it, nothing.
TODAY'S ENTRY:
Huey Lewis and the News - The Power of Love
I know exactly why this one was in my head. I was at work talking to my friend Dan, and somehow we were discussing the band Chicago, and then Peter Cetera.
Even though in the back of my mind I knew it wasn't true, I said "didn't he do that song Power of Love?"
Dan replied "no, that was Huey Lewis. You know he can't perform anymore?"
We discussed that, and how important ear plugs are, and then went on about our day. Then I woke up this morning with this wonderful song blaring in my head on repeat.
