Meridiana
I wrote this song for a woman. It was an impossible story, because she was really beautiful and I was fiancé with another girl. Her name starts with M, and she will never know this song was written for her. No one knew this until now that I am writing it.
When I had to entitle the song I chose the name 'Meridiana' because it also starts with M and recalls me when the time passes and one can do nothing to change what is happening.
Meridiana in Italian means Sundial, a solar watch.
It is a classical composition, and in the track you can find all of my feelings about the situation.
Indeed you can see that at the beginning and at the end of the composition there are two strings ensembles that try to show the relevance of the appearance of this beautiful woman in my life and how could I love her if I had started a story. Then, in the middle of the composition there is a long piano and upright bass musical discourse and you can really feel that two persons try to get close one another an then they slowly distance themselves.
I hope you all can feel what I tried to express with this music.
