Based on Bernstein's theory of "monogenesis" all languages come from a single source. That's why you hear a baby speak some kind of "Mmm" sound when they are hungry. In more than three 300 different languages the "Mmm" sound is in the word used for mother. There is a warmth when we feel the sound "Mmmm".
When we listen to music we bring back old memories and our brain makes connections. Some say there is a healing power in music and medical science suggests that certain music releases dopamine and other hormones from the brain .
Given that illness is so common and music is so common I suggest three for Tuesday.
