This one will be fun for all of you steemsters out there that love music. There will be all sorts of music genres here, from metal, punk-rock to indie and reggae. It is saturday and this can get you hyped for the night out. Have Fun and here goes:
1. The Clash
"Only band that mattered" as we fans like to say. The Clash is simply the best. Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Topper Headon, Paul Simonon formed the best punk rock band of all time. The Clash had the power to change the world. What a shame the group split up and ended that epic run too soon. Joe Strummer died in 2002. but his music will always live on. If you don't know The Clash it is never too late to find out about them and let your mind be blown.
2. Metallica
Thrash Metal in it's best form. James Hetfield yelling on people and thrashing all night. Metallica ruled the world, so many metal heads were grow up listening to master of puppets, enter sandman, whiskey in the jar, fuel. They posses that energy and riffs that can melt your soul. Can't wait for the new album.
3. Iron Maiden
It is not like the name sugests some torturing device, i guess for someone it is if they don't like one of the best bands of all time. For me it is a sweet sound of runing to the hills. Bruce Dickinson the lead singer is not your typical singer, he also flies jumbo jets. If that isn't rock and roll i don't know what is!
4. Black Sabbath
This guys started it all, grandfathers of metal. Back then they did not even know what they created, they performed in your normal day to day clothes that later evolved to black leather and iron spikes. From Ozzy to Dio they rocked and never stopped!
5. Pixies
One of those bands that nobody tells you about but 1st time when you listen to their songs you get hooked for life.
6. The Doors
Their music was the symptom of the times they were living in, psychedelics and other drugs were everywhere and their music is just like that, psychedelic. It is all over the place but somehow epic and never gets old. Evergreen.
7. AC/DC
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll. AC/DC will electrify every atom in your body and make you move. What else to say?
8. Joy Formidable
Here is one of the new bands that most of you never heard of, I stumbled upon them while watching Conan. It is an indie rock band with insane music and vocals. Such a great contrast between the noise they are producing and singer Ritzy's voice. They will be playing in Croatia for the 1st time in about 3 months. You guessed it, I'm going! Will probably make a blog about it :)
9. Bob Marley
Where would we be without Bob? At the same place but less happy I'm sure. Bob healed the world with his music, those kind of musicians are so rare and we must worship them forever. Teach your kids and grand kids about Bob.
10. Andrew W.K.
Intruder to this list but this guy is so crazy and his music can feel you so alive like nothing else. Feel sad, feel depressed, feel stuck, turn on Andrew W.K. and rock on! Your nose will bleed but who cares. Tommorrow you will feel like a new man, or a woman.
