I spent a lot of time recording live music in small venues because I found the larger venues too easy. Besides, I like my music up close and personal. I try to do this without getting in the way of the Café as it is a working business, and I also do not want to get in the way of anyone else, so I do this with my back against the wall. I do not control the lights, nor do I have any say in the sound, so I get what I get. Sometimes this fails spectacularly, but at other times this works out rather nicely. Enjoy!
