Born February 6, 1945 in Jamaica and died May 11, 1981 in the United States this interplanetary artist is undoubtedly the person who allowed the music #reggae and thus the Rastafarian movement and the Jamaican culture to spread.
Although still young (36 years old) he sold more than 200 million records.
Born in a modest family Robert Nesta Marley stops school at the age of 14, he starts very quickly to the music and after a ska period and another rocksteady he starts reggae in 1969 with the success he knows him.
In a very short time his music and his payroll messages spread throughout the world.
He will be the father of a large family (6 children).
He died of cancer in 1981.
