Here we go shuffling through the house, quote pick up your feet my wife says, and you know we have this talk sometimes about how it's those things that you absorb and make part of the other person that makes them feel present to you in your life, the sound of shuffling feet you know represents me you know, maybe some dishes in the sink or napkins mixed up with food scraps you know that becomes representative of my wife and and that becomes kind of Representative of those things that become a way of knowing that the other person is there in your life and that's a good thing.

Things grow on you and yes you can come attached to them over time, but attachments kind of like a prison and to the extent that you live in a prison well that's not much fun. Instead become free of attachment and that means just the same as when you were at the gig of not having an expectation of how the music's going to be.
Yesterday's back-to-back gigs you know it's so much fun in a way because it's kind of like a challenge just like seeing you know can I run from here down to the parking lot and back you know without you know you know laying down on the ground on my back for a while you know I don't know. I can do a back-to-back gigs still and that take some stamina and get home you know and I got that macaroni and cheese that comes as a free meal from the club and that's all well and good but you don't want to eat too much of that just before you go to bed haha you know it might take some time to wind down and you got all of this stuff and it's all part of the energy and how the energy runs on that day.

There's a lot of scarring around especially when there's not much time between gigs. You load the equipment you go to the gig you find out if you're in the right building or not you set up the equipment you play the music your break down the equipment you Shuffle it back to the car you load it back in the car Youree Drive for a half an hour and then you get to the other club and you unload the car take the equipment in load all the equipment play the music get the money break down the equipment take it back out to the car loaded up and drive home.
Whew! Makes me tired just thinking about it. LOL and you don't want to think about it too much like you wouldn't want to overthink it because then you not be having any fun and it is good fun and it makes a little bit of cash to so there you have it.
