Introducing the Steemit Music Collective Discord channel!
We all know how hard it is to get ahold of other Steem users to collaborate. There are apps like SteemSpeak and Steemchat, which are great additions to this community, but are to no use on the go. For businessmen in the music industry and musicians it is very important to be able to stay in touch where ever you go.
This post is to raise awareness on the Discord channel that a small group of music professionals from Steemit have put together to make it easier to get in touch with one another. Not only to communicate, but this space will be used for post-promoting your Steemit articles, get feedback on your work, and even have rap battles!
I would like to thank for making all this possible.
Also the moderators that have agreed to help make this a safe place to share your work:
The channel will be accepting open invitations starting Friday this week, so keep your eyes open and don't miss out on your oppertunity to be one of the firsts involved in this great collabarative journey.
What will I be contributing to this platform you ask...
Tons of different stuff, but mostly I will be moderating the music production room along with
Also I will be moderating the Steemit Exclusive music videos channel.
I have talked in my previous posts about being the first to make a music video exclusive to Steemit before release on any other platform. This project will include crowdfunding for the music video as a whole, as I will have to fly my good friend Shentell down from Colorado up here to Seattle, and making sure we have all the equipment to make this reality. Also releasing blooper reels, behind the scenes first looks, and project updates that will only be available to my fellow Steemians.
Huge shoutout to for inspiring me to do this same concept he is doing with his feature film exclusive to Steemit!
There will be way more details coming later this Summer about the music video (which will be the first music video ever I am directing). If you are interested in this sort of thing give me a follow!
Other than that, I will be providing How-To series here on Steemit and the Discord channel on newer producers that want to get into Ableton as their choice of DAW.
