Some of the most re known people on earth are people who impacted the society positively either through art, environmental care, Technology, Political peace enforcer or Music. this are some but a few, Today we will talk about music, specifically reggae and afterwards i will share a list of some good reggae vibes you can listen to when you are in a relaxing and dancing mood.
we have lots of people who have impacted the society through music, we have street performers who were homeless and through music they made a positive impact in someone's life, "THATS THE POWER OF GOOD MUSIC".
originated from Jamaica in the late 1960s, the term reggae denotes a particular music style influenced by American jazz, rhythm and blues, lovers rock and a little bit of traditional mento, this evolved and brought out the earlier genres of reggae, that is; SKA and ROCKSTEADY.
Reggae comes in all languages and music play style, we have Spanish, French, Latino, English, Swahili, and lots and lots more languages in reggae, this shows how diverse reggae is and how easy it fits in any environment and society.
reggae is so calming and spiritual thus a remedy to many people who had stressful day at work or just a frustrating day or even someone who just wants to grace his evening to some good vibes. unlike love, Rap, and love songs reggae always preaches peace, love and unity making it the first genre ever to not use hate words in its lyrics. reggae speaks highly of women and in the reggae world women are empresses and a very important "work of art", A flower that is key to human survival "Richie Spice - always on my mind " . Reggae talks of the environment and earth like a mother which she is "jah cure - mother earth" that is why we love reggae its always about positive vibration no negative vibes so take a cold bottle of beer, whiskey, wine or what you love and listen to reggae. here is a list of some of my favorites Enjoy.
NB: just a pointer here is the best way to listen to reggae.
