Bangla Concert is organized every year by Young Bangla-CRI on the anniversary of the historic 7 March speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The event, staged at the Bangladesh Army Stadium, Dhaka, is the biggest rock music extravaganza in Bangladesh that, apart from performance of popular numbers by the biggest rock bands of the country, also brings in modern rock renditions of the songs being broadcast in the Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, the rebel radio station from 1971.
