The sun is out and the weather is amazing
That is the perfect opportunity for me to share a sweet summer-y song with you guys. Obviously, in Dutch. Because that's ma thang.
This is one of my favorite, summer-y, Dutch song! The beat, the lyrics, the rap. I mentioned summer, and that is what you're going to get. The title of the song literally translates into: We go where the sun brings us.
We're following this band through their day. They're going wherever they're going.
They're in the car, windows rolled down, zooming on the highway. They're stopping for petrol, get a bunch of ice creams. They turned of their TomTom, and are simply winging it. Everything leads to the good of the road to the sun.
In their Ford Fiesta, they're pumping up the music. Whoa, stopping once more. This time for a picknick and a nap.
We go where the sun takes us,
no stress today.
All the time to take the time,
see how the wind is blowing now.
He turns down the radio, leans back in his chair - whistling a song which has been stuck in his head. Which by the way got a sunburn due to today. But that is what happens when hang your head out of the window.
The destination is unknown is the right path on the way. Apparently they're at the sea because they spotted some dykes. The smell of french fries. Things are happening on days like these. Take some rest at the whitewash, sand in your hair. Actually, it's time to go to a bar.
They're done. They asked for the receipt. On their way to anything, the night is still young. They are following the moon now, instead of the sun. He feels good on days like these. He lights up a cigarette in his car, for the after dinner dip.
They arrive at a festival location, unload for the check. They hang out a bit before they walk to the mainstage.
