Hi everyone,
This idea of posting legendary but perhaps under-rated musical acts of Canada came to me from my experience traveling abroad on business a few years back. I was traveling and working with a global team in the automotive manufacturing sector and during our down time, one of my American colleagues was promoting this new genre of music he had discovered. The music was Canadian and the band was the mighty "RUSH".
Although appreciative of his delight for his new found love and continuous promotion of the band RUSH, I, as a Canadian, felt it was no big deal (although I extremely enjoyed his excitement and respect of the music) because, EVERYBODY knows who Rush is (well, almost everyone).
So, I started to introduce him to obscure and not so well known Canadian music groups and a relationship soon flourished. Soon thereafter, no matter what country we were in, Canadian Rock content was constantly streaming on our business trips (eh!)
My plan here is to upload some classic Canadian Rock content daily in hopes to promote Canadian Rock music and perhaps introduce Classic Canadian Rock to some of you outside of Canada. So here goes.. the first band is.... Hope you enjoy!
Canadian Classic Rock - APRIL WINE
APRIL WINE is a Canadian Rock band that originated from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada in 1969 which later relocated to Montreal, Quebec Canada in 1970.
