If you're a musician and you're trying to promote your show and could use a few pointers, this video is worth a watch! I've been playing live shows for over a decade and I've been working hard to try to get together as much helpful advice as I can for people that are new to the music industry and trying to get their foot in the door. Over the years I've had a lot of successful shows and a lot of failed shows, so here's a few things I have learned that have helped me grow and succeed over the years.
If you don't feel like watching the video, here's some simple suggestions:
1.Your show fliers should be something that you would want to hang up in your house.
- Go to other people's shows.
- Get creative with promo content!
- Text everyone day of the event.
What do you think? What other advice would you give people that are trying to promote their shows and increase their audience reach? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear your suggestions!
