Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm starting a series where I share some of my favorite artists in hopes to get them some steem love! The first band is a four piece instrumental funk/rock band from New York called Tauk. Lets start out with one of my favorite songs from them:
The band started playing together when they were in 7th grade and in 2012 they added their final member to complete the lineup. This past winter the band toured with jam legends Umphrey's Mcgee and recently played Red Rocks Amphitheater with The String Cheese Incident.
My personal experience with the band:
The first time Tauk came to my hometown I missed the show but a few of my friends told me I had to catch them the next time they came through. I heeded their advice and saw them for the first time for free at a dive bar in Chantilly, Virginia. I realized after the first few songs that this would be a band I would follow for a long time. I also saw them twice in Baltimore, MD during their month long residency at the 8x10. If you enjoy live music do yourself a favor and go see Tauk!
