Last night I was performing again. A friend has started a new open mic in the village of Ickwell, in the cricket pavilion. This is organiser Tim kicking things off.
Inevitably there was some beer involved. I was drinking the Atlantic.
I did a couple of sets that included some original songs. They went down well with an audience who hadn't heard them before.
There were several younger people performing and it's interesting that they were largely playing music from before they were born, such as Beatles, The Who and Pink Floyd.
The sound was great and much helped by having a professional on the deck to tweak it. He was only using a few of the many channels.
