Hi Steemit Community,
I am proud to present you my first ever post on this lovely platform.
This year I have started making music everyday and before I know it, I came up with four songs. This is one of the more energetic ones.
I was searching the web for some stems I can use, some acapella's so I can build a song around. At this moment I came across Galvanize from Chemical Brothers. It gave me the opportunity to listen to the lyrics with a complete new view. I must confess I never knew what Galvanize meant (to take action) and never realized how pumped up the vocals were. Maybe its my English but it starts with:
You woke up with the initiative to move so why make it harder?
So cutting these vocals was my days work which afterwars I cherished it with some drums and synths which was all fine but wasnt really complete yet.
The next day I was attending a session called "living your life's purpose" which I attended to gain some support with my life decision to fill it with more and more of music in place of my 9-5 job. During thr presentation I must say I was a bit bored because the presenter was showing videos of Steve Jobs commencement speech at the Stanford University and also a speech of Tim Munchin which I both knew!
BUT
At that moment a lightbulb went off in my head! These speeches were the text I needed for my song. I literally left the session midway to dash home and use these lyrics to strengthen the message of Dont Hold Back. It was a crazy experience. It was like the music was flowing through me! I did not care so much of te technical aspects. Put everything in boxes on my launchpad with a vague song structure in mind clear everything off and push record - and play it live.

Steemit now gives me this motivation to not hold back any music in my chest!
Hope you enjoy it,
