Live music truly kicks ass! Especially when it is artist that you truly like. I like connecting with people, especially when it's over music. Yeah, there are artist that aren't good live but then you have those that come baring their soul.
I remember going to my first concert at the age of 12 and being blown away that night, it was really amazing.
When I started getting into taking photos I found out more about the photos I like taking ( and still learning) most are random settings and others are of performances.
I love music and being able to capture it with a lens, thrills the shit out of me.
A friend of mine of told me about this group performing in a city by me. The group was an an Alternative/Indie Rock group called The Roosevelts and they were at The Acoustic Bar & Music Hall in in Bridgeport, CT , United States. The group is from Nashville, TN and their sound merges the musical history of Rock, Country, Blues and Folk.
This was my first time watching this group perform, and let me tell you; it was a really cool performance. I was able to see the connection they have with their fans and how much their fans love them and their music. A lot of the songs they performed tell a great story and their stage presence did not make you want to sleep .
The Roosevelts rocked The Acoustic and they were worth going to see.
If you ever get a chance to see your favorite group perform live or even a random artists perform live in a city nearby go check it out. Sometimes you just never know what who will broaden your music playlist :)
Peace.
Thanks did coming by.
