First, I'd like to thank everyone who has been listening along to the CD so far, and I especially appreciate all of the comments related to the songs on these Shindig Shop posts. Your thoughtful comments on the previous posts here are already more input than I've ever received on this music, and it was recorded in 1994-- more than 23 years ago!
It has been a pleasure for me to present this collection of songs here, and to further preserve their lyrics here in the blockchain. The band never did much after this recording, and aside from a few reunion shows, Shindig Shop the band faded from the scene around Arkansas. The boxes of CDs that were retrieved from the studio fire have been buried in storage rooms, largely unheard until now.

Here then is track 10, a song called Wind's Reply. At first it seems sad and forlorn, but ends up joyful in the end.
Wind's Reply
So far away- only the wind replies, trying it's best to dry the tears of a friend
It's not for me. If I could change it now- people I want to see are so far away.
But listen- your soul cries out with joy if you'd only listen
And if we failed, we failed to hear the laughter, we failed to see the smile
So far away- only the wind replies, using the leaves to hide the tears of a friend
Down from the sky- don't you remember now?
We talked to birds just because they had the view.
But listen- your soul cries out with joy if you'd only listen
And if we failed, we failed to hear the laughter, we failed to see the smile
