Geneva, Switzerland - 3 April, 2018
Last week we had a few quieter days in Divonne-les-Bains before the madness of April fully takes hold! Making use of some decent weather, we hopped in the car and drove across the Swiss boarder to Geneva in order to do a little busking and shoot a scenic video. Naturally we found ourselves on the famous Lake Geneva, but it was the Jet d'Eau that was particularly interesting. While we could not play directly beneath the fountain, we shot the video only a few meters away, on a narrow stone boardwalk in the center of the lake. Behind us you can see the silhouettes of the Swiss Alps, the lighthouse and a piece of the historic Geneva skyline.
The song is called "The Duke of the Bello" and its origin traces to West London, where we have spent a lot of time at different points in our musical career. The song still has arranging to do and there is a second melody that is missing from the recording entirely, but we wanted to give you a taste of something new we have been working on. It's been a creative past few weeks and this will likely become a part of a new EP or perhaps even full album that we will release later this year.
Thanks for listening Steemians! We are encouraged by the continued support and we will keep posting these videos weekly for you.
