Poort Righteous Teachers are a group of three rappers coming out of New Jersey.
I first encountered Poor Righteous Teachers many many years ago through my cousin who is right into her hip hop.
Poor Righteous Teachers are really underground and often don't get the recognition they deserve.
The band is no longer together after Father Shaheed their DJ died from a motorcycle accident.
The group produced some amazing songs, one of which really stands out against most hip hop rap I have listened to and is still one of my favorite tracks.
The track is called Miss Ghetto.
Miss ghetto is a reference to cocaine and it's grip on the youth of America which is still just as true to this day, and when you listen to the track it's quite powerful.
Wise intellect is a really wise rapper, which is evident in the lyrics of their songs.
