Hi everyone,
I'm VERY excited to be starting a new series, in which I review certain music, be it songs, artists or whole albums. Music is very important to me, even though I have absolutely no musical talent; so I thought that this would be a fun series to do for Steemit.
I thought it would be fitting to do the first episode on my favourite band ever, The Neighbourhood. They also dropped their latest EP, "To Imagine", on Friday.
The Neighbourhood (NHBD) have a very different kind of sound. They identify as an alternative/ indie rock band, although they include a lot of R&B.
They have a black and white, grunge aesthetic, which matches mine completely and I absolutely adore! I draw a lot of inspiration from them for my personal style.
The majority of their music has an indie kind of sound, but they also have a mix tape that they made with a whole lot of different rap and R&B artists, that has a completely different sound. Their latest two EP's, released in 2017 and 2018, have a VERY 80's sound, which I personally love.
This track is one of my favourites from the EP that dropped couple of days ago.
If you like any of those genres, I highly recommend that you check this band out. They are all about art, and making each track an art piece.
Here is their VEVO Youtube page, where you can find all of their tracks.

If any of you Steemians know of, or like this band, please leave a comment! I hardly ever find anyone who knows of them, so it would be nice to find some of you! Also, if you give it a listen and like it, let me know too!
Have a lovely day guys!
