In September, the musical 9 to 5 was directed by Szente Vajk at the József Attila Theater. It was a great performance. A good little piece of music about working women oppressed by the male boss who, if they stand on their heels and stick together, are capable of big things. Actors with special voices, skillful dancers, very good music and songs, vibrant, precise choreography and of course humorous sayings. A cheerful performance in which we can meet real work situations that are not solved in an everyday way by three recovered women. I especially liked that they were able to capture the changing locations very well with the set. Directing of Szente Vajk is basically a kind of guarantee for me to have fun, especially when working with such actors and creative companions. Despite the difficult circumstances of recent times, I think the show was a great success. There were changes and jumps in several roles. Erika Náray, Éva Auksz, Szandra Holczinger and Vera Kováts also did very well. The theater adapted quickly and well to unexpected events. You can find the cast of the show and the names of the creators in the second photo. Definitely worth a look, either with this cast or later with the original.
No small achievement and challenge is what actors and theaters have to accomplish lately so that we spectators can relax with them in the evenings. Therefore, thanks to all the theater workers.
