Well that went so quickly! Another 2 weeks have passed and it's time for my update on where I'm at financially and generally on hive and what my goals are for the next 2 weeks...

Finances Update

In my previous update I'd bought a fair amount of additional Hive and used it to power up, stake 2nd layer tokens and buy into Diesel Pools. This time though I thought it would be interesting to see how my position and earnings change without adding anything 'from outside'.

So - no power ups, no additional staking (other than activities that reward staked tokens), no adding additional liquidity to Diesel Pools that I didn't already have there and I haven't even bought any new Rising Star cards this time.

I have though continued to be pretty active in content creation, commenting and voting as well as in actually playing Rising Star.

Goals Update

From last time my goals were:

• Broadcast a full length VIMM stream! (e.g. 1 hour or more)

I've done pretty well here, streaming on VIMM several times - one time very successfully. Other times with mixed success but that was due to technical problems with VIMM at the time. Will keep going with this.

• Look into the various ways of getting some of my music onto Hive and at least come up with a plan to do so.

I think this is an area where more options will appear in time - but to start with - I have a track coming out in the next 1-2 month timeframe and my intention is to add it as an NFT available to buy through Rising Star (since I'm playing that anyway and it's a great community!)

• Read about and understand about all the 2nd layer tokens that I've been advised to either buy or tag my posts with - so I understand the usages and benefits of each.

I have got somewhere with this - and I at least have an understanding now of all the main tags I'm using and what their communities are about - more learning to come though.

• Post another update in 2 weeks!

Next Goals

In the next 2 weeks:

• Time to add a second block chain game: Learn the basics and establish my city in dCity.

• Get to level 50 on Rising Star, get a millionaire card and start doing millionaire missions.

• Do #HivePUD on 1st November.

• Return to making additions to staking, HP, pools, buying cards etc - thoughtful and likely modest additions though.

• Post another update in 2 weeks!

Also massive respect to Hive account@stevec for seemingly engaging with pretty much everything I do and generally still being welcoming and supportive! Steve writes a bunch of interesting content but lately I'm mostly interested in his progress learning the drums!

Very happy to have discovered the beautiful piano playing of Hive account@mipiano - plenty for piano lovers there, but also some great and thoughtful content about walks, nature and buildings!

That's it this time - I think the bi-weekly update is a good time frame that's working well for me. Every week might be a bit too stressful to have met all my goals and/or for enough to have happened - but every 2 weeks seems just right.
