I think I got into prog in my mid-teens with the gateway drug of Genesis. When I first heard Marillion I could hear definite similarities. I saw them live on the Misplaced Childhood tour. I think that was at the NEC. I've not kept up with all they have done since Fish left, but I have heard some of the newer stuff. I hear they still have a dedicated fanbase and even run their own festival. Maybe I need to catch them again some time. I'l spare you the 18 minute b-side track Grendel. This is a good bit of rock.
