I did all the lifting and drilling. He did all the watching. This was a month long project, as it was put on delay for quite a while because we didn't have the correct drill bit type. We had a wood drill bit, not a mason bit for brick and such.
But eventually we acquired the correct bit and took the time to drill the holes in the brick and set the hooks.
I think it looks pretty cool above the mantle like such. Very antique-ish. Reminds me of the movie The Patriot.
