Even though the 2019 Mustang Bullitt won’t be available until this summer, fans can already see it in action.
Comedian and automotive enthusiast Jay Leno took the car for a spin at Ford’s test site in Dearborn accompanied by Mustang Brand Manager Mark Schaller.
After testing out the 2019 Mustang Bullitt, Leno then drove the original 1968 Mustang used in the film “Bullitt” along with its owner, Sean Kiernan.
Kiernan inherited the car from his late father in 2014 and drove it onstage at Cobo Center as Ford unveiled the 2019 Mustang Bullitt at the North American International Auto Show.
The segment was recorded for Leno’s show “Jay Leno’s Garage” on CNBC. Click here to watch.
