Hello. My name is Manug Kyaw Kyaw. We have seven members in our family. They are father, mother, two elder sister, a elder brother, a younger brother and myself. My family is not rich but we are a happy family. My parents work in our farm. One of my younger brothers works as a baker in Yangon. He supports the family regularly. My two elder sister helps my mother at home. My youngest brother goes to the primary school in our village. He is the youngest in our family, and father and mother love him very much. Now, I am studying English in Yangon. I usually return to my village at the end of every year.
I am from Myauk Chaung village in Mrauk-U Township, Rakhine State. It is a big village. The villagers are farmers. It is about 3 miles north of urban Mrauk-U. It has about two hundred houses. Most are wooden houses and only a few are made of bamboo.The population of the village is over 900. The villagers are ethnic Rakhine people. They are farmers and planters, and work in paddy fields and betel nut plantations surrounding the village. The a pond in the middle of the village provide water to the inhabitants.There are tributaries and streams flowing near the village. There are also several villages in the neighbourhood and they are within easy reach.
The village has two state schools-a B.E.P.S. and a-B.E.M.S. But it still dose not have a library, though some people have attempted to build one. Besides, my native village is still short of some basic necessities for modern living. Nevertheless, it is a pieasant and enjoyable place.
ကြ်န္ေတာ့္နာမည္ ေမာင္ေက်ာ္ေက်ာ္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ မိသားစုမွာ မိသားစုဝင္ ခုႏွစ္ေယာက္ရွိပါတယ္။ ၎တုိ႔မွာ ေဖေဖ ေမေမ အစ္မႏွစ္ေယာက္ အစ္ကုိတစ္ေယာက္ ညီေလးတစ္ေယာက္ႏွင့္ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔သည္ မခ်မ္းသာႀကပါဘူး သုိ႔ေသာ္ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ေသာ မိသားစုေလးတစ္ခုျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ အေဖႏွင့္အေမက လယ္လုပ္ႀကပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္အစ္ကုိက ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕မွာ မုန္႔ဖုတ္သမားလုပ္ပါတယ္။ သူသည္ မိသားစုကုိ ပုံမွန္ေထာက္ပ့ံေပးပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ရဲ႕ အစ္မမ်ားက အိမ္၌ အေမ့ကုိ ကူညီပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ ညီအငယ္ဆုံးမွာ ရြာေက်ာင္းတြင္ မူလတန္းတက္ေနပါတယ္။ သူက ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ မိသားစုတြင္ အေထြးဆုံးျဖစ္ကာ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ အေဖႏွင့္အေမက သူ႔ကုိ အလြန္ခ်စ္ႀကပါတယ္။ ယခု ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ရန္ကုန္ျမဳ႕ိ၌ အဂၤလိပ္စာ သင္ယူေလ့လာေနပါတယ္။ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ႏွစ္အကုန္တုိင္း ရြာကုိျပန္ေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။
ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ရခုိင္ျပည္နယ္ ေျမာက္ဦးျမိဳ႕နယ္ ေျမာက္ေခ်ာင္းေက်းရြာမွျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၎သည္ ရြာႀကီးတစ္ရြာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ရြာသားေတြက လယ္သမားေတြပါ။ ေျမာက္ဦးျမိဳ႕၏ ေျမာက္ဘက္ ၃ မုိင္ခန္႔အကြာတြင္ ရွိပါတယ္။ ရြာတြင္ အိမ္ေျခ (၂၀၀) ခန္႔ရွိပါတယ္။ အိမ္အမ်ားစုက သစ္သားအိမ္မ်ားျဖစ္ႀကျပီး ဝါးျဖင့္ေဆာက္လုပ္ထားသည့္ အိမ္မ်ားမွာ အနည္းသာရွိပါတယ္။ ရြာေနလူဦးေရ (၉၀၀) ေက်ာ္ရွိပါတယ္။ ရြာသားမ်ားသည္ ရခုိင္တုိင္းရင္းသားမ်ားျဖစ္ႀကသည္။ သူတုိ႔သည္ ရြာဝန္းက်င္တြင္ လယ္ယာစုိက္ပ်ဳိးေရးႏွင့္ ကြမ္းသီးျခံလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားလုပ္ကုိင္ႀကပါတယ္။ ရြာ၏အလယ္တြင္ ေရကန္တစ္ကန္ရွပါတယ္။ရြာသားမ်ားသည္ ယင္းေရကန္မွ ေရကုိသုံးစဲြႀကသည္။ ရြာအနီးအနားတြင္ ျမစ္လက္တက္မ်ား ေခ်ာင္းမ်ား စီးဆင္းလ်က္ရွိပါတယ္။ ရြာနီးခ်ဳပ္စပ္တြင္ အျခားေက်းရြာမ်ားလည္းရွိေသးကာ အလြယ္တကူ ကူးလူးသြားလာႏူိင္ပါတယ္။
ရြာတြင္ အ-မ-က ႏွင့္ အ-လ-က စာသင္ေက်ာင္း ၂ ေက်ာင္းရွိပါတယ္။ သုိ႔ေသာ္ စာႀကည့္တုိက္မရွိေသးပါ။ ယခင္က စာႀကည့္တုိက္ ထူေထာင္ရန္ႀကိဳးစားခ့ဲဖူးႀကေသာ္လည္း မျဖစ္ေျမာက္ခ့ဲပါ။ကြ်ႏူ္ပ္၏ေမြးရပ္ဇာတိရြာသည္ ေခတ္မီသည့္ရြာတစ္ရြာျဖစ္လာရန္ အေျခခံလုိအပ္ခ်က္ မ်ားစြာရွိေသးသည့္ ရြာတစ္ရြာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သုိ႔ျဖစ္ေစကာမူ ေနခ်င္စရာ သာယာလွပသည့္ေနရာတစ္ခုျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
