Sunset in the city of El Tigre
The southern part of the state of Anzoátegui is comprised of the cities of San Tomé, El Tigrito and El Tigre, those of us who live in this region we move in the three daily, as they are a few minutes away from each other.

This region is rich in natural resources, has land suitable for agriculture and cattle ranching, beautiful rivers, the largest reserves of hydrocarbons in the world (Faja Petrolífera del Orinoco), thick vegetation, among many others.

But from my point of view, the greatest richness it has, is one of the largest underground aquifers in Venezuela: Mesa de Guanipa, so much so that the water we consume is one of the sweetest and of excellent quality, since it comes directly from deep wells. They don't know what I've enjoyed this, we just turn on the tap and drink it, the water is simply delicious.

In the next video from Dtube, my daughter tells you about this (in Spanish) and you can watch her drinking tap water (I love her).

The main economic activity of the region is oil production, and Petroleos de Venezuela is there offices, mainly in San Tomé. San Tomé is a beautiful American-style urbanism, developed for oil workers during the beginning of the oil era in the region. I like the place because it is small, comfortable and well preserved. It has squares, parks, hospital, recreation club, restaurants, airport, a beautiful church, which is where I got married and baptized my children.

And very important, free schools, in fact my children study in one, a few steps from my office and that makes me very happy.

My dear friends of Steemit, I tell you that there are other places of importance in the region, here I only show you some that have caught my attention, some for their beauty, others because they have important meaning in my life, what I can tell you is that, in any place I have lived in this beautiful land, called Venezuela, I have had the joy of enjoying beautiful places, and that is that, from my point of view, beauty comes from the inside out. It does not require great things to enjoy great moments.
