Part-1
Their names are long and modern but for simplicity's sake they shall be known as Ko Kyaw and Ma Chaw. They were schoolmates and their common intention and ambition: they both wanted to become surgeons and earn a lot of money and glorey on the way to riches. But their ability failed them. Both passed 10th standard with goog marks, but not good enough to cpear the hurdle. The highest they were qualified to apply for was a course in agriculture. But they were not interested in going to the countryside and dealing with farmers. Farmers were illiterate and ignorant to be avoided at all cost.
After a heart rending contemplation, they decided to go for maths and physics. Someone told them they could still be called "Doctors" if they work hard and get a Ph.D. Afterbfour years of hard work, they both graduated and got married just after convocation. They joined university as tutor (Ma Chaw ) demonstrator (Ko Kyaw). They did M.Sc and then Ph.D. They became principals of colleges in district towns. Their duty stations were about a hundred miles apart, but they could meet every weekend. In the meantime they had a lovely son. They named him "Moe".
