This post of mine is in response to Hive account@bien's My Art of The Week: Week # 2: Thumbnail. If you're interested to join, please check out the post by clicking HERE.

It is so timely that I started "Calligraphy" as a sort of hobby. Now, I could make use of it through Hive account@bien's Art Contest. Below is the final "Thumbnail" that I made.

Here are the materials that I used to make this piece of art:

2. Mechanical pencil, eraser, Uniballeye pen (blue) and Artline 0.3
   
   
   
   
   
3. Art Attack Washable Color Pens
   
   
   
   
   
4. Tokyo Finds Pro Blend Watercolor Brush
   
   
   
   
   
   I actually don't have the proper materials for calligraphy but these could do. I'm about to use them all out though, so if I want to continue this hobby, I would need to buy some art materials. Ohh la la la~
   
   

Let me show you the process in completing this artwork:

First, I sketched the phrase lightly on my sketchpad. Sketching lightly is a struggle for me because I'm always so messy. huhuhu~ I should train my hand more.

Then, I directly traced the primary sketch using my art materials. I just played with various colors.











I finally completed the whole phrase... Now, I wrote my signature below.





Since Hive account@bien is planning to use the winning artwork as his thumbnail, I decided to edit my finished output a bit using "Photoscape".





I still have a long way to go in terms of Calligraphy, but I'm enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying all the other hobbies that I have. <3 Thanks for this opportunity, Hive account@bien... ^^
