Holiday Weekend - Show Us Your California

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by Hive account@thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.

It was a holiday weekend as we celebrated Memorial Day - a day where we remember those who have served in the military and lost their lives in service to their country.

My family celebrated with some other family members and spent some time on the water for part of the weekend. Here is a pic of the kids and some cousins celebrating:

We watched a fireworks show and ate lots of good food as well.

A great way to remember our fallen heroes.
