#TIL Another use case of STEEMSQL - see for yourself are there spam...

Today, I was playing with steemsql.com and looking at some comments and there's been talk of spam happening. So, wondering if I could do #myexperiment to use steem.sql to look at 2nd level comment presumably from the author responding to the person who left a comment. Below is a table of comments in the last 24 hours which I extracted and believe it's the author responding to spam. I extracted the comments based on some criteria. This is by no means fool proofed or exhaustive but I thought I just draw it out for you to see can comment and decided for yourself. You can probably learn something about responding to spammy type of comment. I'm sure I did. You can click on the link in the RESPONSE column to see the original response in the post.

@calamus056	@jacksonoskele	Because the vast majority of people had no power before June 20th and didn't notice the problem. Now everyone know about it and people finally realize it's a problem. People are mainly against self-voting spam comments.

@joeyrocketfilms	@crooklyncat	Because ponzi. I think the referee program is amazing but it attracts the kind of people that spend 23/24 hours of the day spamming their link and it annoys people. I think that has a lot to do with it.
