Hi, I’m Regine Villamejor from the land where the famous “torta” dessert with its famous tagline “MAGKABAHAW, MAGKALAMI” was originated, Talo-ot, Argao, Cebu City, Philippines. Maybe you’ll be curious why I consider myself INSPIRING and just like the life cycle of a butterfly, that’s how my life went through in the process.
I grew up in the province of Argao as a simple “probinsyana” (province girl) who has a lot of dreams in life not just for myself, for my family, but also for the less fortunate. I was raised by my fisherman father and fish vendor mother. At an early age, I already have pictured out how challenging life is. I learned to hustle and get involved in helping my family to survive daily. I am a DREAMER who never gives up on life no matter what challenges were thrown at me. I always look into the POSITIVE side of life and INSPIRE others with my success stories.
WHY AM I HERE?
Ever since I was young, I loved to tell stories to people. I have this personality wherein every time I open up myself to others, they will not feel intimidated but rather INSPIRED. I would like to believe that my PURPOSE in life is really to INSPIRE. I find it a blessing when my colleague, Ms. opened up about this platform. It feels like God made her as an instrument to continue what I’ve started. I am convinced that this platform is God’s way of telling me that this core gift that I have is a blessing to the people that will be reached by my story.
MY INSPIRING JOURNEY BEGINS!
Year 2017, my INSPIRING story went viral online. I was given the opportunity to be featured on newspapers, radio stations, local and National Television and different social media platforms. From being a simple “probinsyana” to becoming everyone’s INSPIRATION most especially to the young generation of today.
I admit when I was in college, I was the studious one. I studied Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Commerce major in Communication and Marketing at the University of San Jose- Recoletos here in Cebu. The tuition fee is quite expensive so I made a way for me to be able to lessen the burden of my parents. Our school offers a tuition fee discount when you can maintain a certain average at the end of every semester. In my case, I get to have a 50% tuition fee discount that time (with a 1.4 general average requirement.) I was grateful that in this way, I was able to help my parents in fulfilling my DREAMS. I was a consistent Dean’s Lister when I was in college.
The journey of getting my college diploma was never an easy one. My Mama got sick when I was about to enter my second year of college and we almost lost her. As the breadwinner of the family, I stayed strong for our family. We struggled a lot, but with God’s grace, we were able to overcome that challenge. My Mama was healed months after she got sick. I thought that would be the end of our sufferings, but I was wrong. During my second year in college, I got diagnosed with Internal Hemorrhoids wherein there would be painful bleeding during bowel movements. It was getting worst through the days so the doctor advised me to undergo a major operation. I was so down that time. Even if I was in the hospital, I do my assignments, projects and even studied my subjects there while I was confined so that I will have something to answer on my special exams when I get back in school.
I am very grateful to have a supportive family, friends, and even professors in the University at that time.
The operation was successful. It took me some time to heal. I went back to school a week after the major operation. I am still grateful for the gift of life plus the gift that I was still able to make it to the Dean’s List. Despite the challenges, I never gave up on my dreams with the help of God. I graduated as Magna Cum Laude in our batch. My story was featured at that time on different social media platforms, newspapers, local and National Television. That was one of the biggest plot twists that ever happened in my life. It paves a way for me to INSPIRE people that all of our DREAMS are valid. If something is for you, God will give it to you.
CORPORATE WORLD
Three months after my graduation, I decided to start already my journey in the corporate world. I never depended that I graduated with flying colors, I applied for a job and go through with the process. I started from scratch and my daily experiences humbles me. I am now working in a food processing company here in Cebu (first job.) On rest days, I do contents for my Youtube channel that I launched last August 2020.
I LOVE TRAVELLING
With travelling, I also have a backstory for this. When I was still studying, I would always spend my free time and school breaks in helping my Mama sell some fishes. I don’t have an extra budget back then for travelling. We were very practical with my family and we set our family’s needs first before anything else. When I was able to land a job, I promised to myself that I would save up and explore some places that I haven’t been to before. I was able to travel to some places already here in the Philippines and praying that I could travel outside the country soon.
I'M ADVENTUROUS
I am always in awe with God’s creation. I am the type of person who always wants to try out new things and get out of my comfort zone. Some of the adventures that I got to do were trekking, scuba diving in Apo Island, and firing range. I am looking forward to try out other things soon.
I’M AN ATHLETE
I was a varsity player for Table Tennis when I was in grade school and High School. With this, I got to travel to places to compete and represent our school. That was really fun and unforgettable. Right now, every time I play Table Tennis, it is like my stress reliever already.
I LOVE DOING CHARITY WORKS
When I was in college, I would spend most of my Sunday’s doing outreach programs initiated by the religious organization in USJ-R. I was able to join them in touching and inspiring lives at the home for the aged or orphanage. It makes me so happy and blessed at the same time. Now, I am also helping those people who are in need with the little that I have. I always believe that I don’t need to have too much in life and when I have something to share, I would really do it without expecting anything in return.
I’M A VLOGGER
People call me as the “Inspiring Cebuana vlogger.” I decided to launch my Youtube channel last August 2020 wherein we are all in the middle of a global pandemic and everyone needs INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION to keep going in life. Most of my vlogs on my Youtube channel are INSPIRATIONAL.

I’M A MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
According to my favorite Catholic preacher Brother Bo Sanchez, he said that “Our core gift has a target audience. Not everyone will like what you serve, but some WILL. Go serve that tribe.” With this guiding phrase and with the help of God, I will continue to TOUCH lives and INSPIRE everyone. I will make use of this core gift in a good way. This is me, YOUR INSPIRING CEBUANA.
Thank you
for introducing hive to me.
