I went to a spot I rarely go to yesterday. The surf was dropping so I decided to take a risk and drove to the spot to fish the drop off.
I walked out to this out cropping and whipped the drop off. The water gets down to 20+ feet immediately.
The bite was slow as I was determined to fish the upper and mid water.
However I did get some screamers. Two huge bites the ripped the line off my reel. I thought I had a chance because of the depth of the water but it was not to be. After a few minutes of fighting the fish the fish broke the leader.
I should have used a heavier test line for the leader but oh well. It was fun anyway.
