They say that nothing lasts forever. In our native tongue, we say "WALANG FOREVER", but the memories we create and share with others will stay with us 'til our last breath and hoping that our existence will inspire other people to be better everyday too.
Life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose. -Tennessee Williams
You might be wondering by now why this blog is named "The Good B.I." and we understand why. Two words completely contradicting each other is really quiet confusing.
But unlike what the name suggests, its true meaning and essence really represent something more than that. B.I. generally means BAD INFLUENCE, but it's different in a three-story office in Cebu City, Philippines. A group of 4 employees turned friends work at a certain well-known food manufacturing company. Their awesome department is called BUSINESS INFORMATION, in short B.I.
So there you have it, we might be called B.I., but in a good way 🤣. Kidding aside, we are a group of friends working in the same department that decided to make a PeakD account to further hone our creativity, to write, and to share our amazing stories with our readers. We believe that we can freely express ourselves on this platform more compared to others like Facebook, Instagram, etc. Hearing good reviews/ feedback from our other colleagues on how the support system, empowerment, and encouragement in here made us even more excited to share the many stories we have to tell.
Get To Know The Creators
As what we have been sharing above and is already a recurring topic, we are a group of friends consisting of 3 girls and 1 boy. But you still don't know anything about us individually. If you're interested enough, we would like to give our short background/profile of each of the creators of this account.
Jaya Albuera
The eldest but the most childish of the group. She loves food a lot so don't ask her if the food is good because, for her, every food, as long as it's not spoiled, is good. She loves aesthetic places, staycations, and beaches too. In her free time, she watches Korean, Chinese, and Thai series. She is an overthinker and "me time" keeps her at peace.
Jessa Mae Manondo
The happy pill and the artist. She is an extrovert and loves cracking jokes to make everyone happy. She loves dogs, Korean dramas, and photography. She enjoys traveling, eating, watching K-dramas, playing with her puppy, and video editing. She wants to travel the world and own a business someday.
Cian Jeremy Marmito
The "Unico Hijo" and the most generous among the group. A very smart and talented man who has a GWA of 1.3, he can speak four languages and can play piano and bandurria. An introvert, a certified Otaku (anime), and Kpop multifan. He loves watching series and movies (mostly Asian, American, etc.), listening to ballad songs, theater plays, adventures, swimming, and road trips. A fun fact about him is, when he gets bored, he treats his friends.
Maria Teresa Vergara
The youngest and the group's future Miss Universe. Her angelic face matches her very sweet personality. She is a financial advisor. She loves singing a lot that just seeing a karaoke machine gives a butterfly on her tummy (she dreamt of having a voice like Taylor Swift). She is very responsible and she enjoys organizing, doing household chores, and not to mention, she is a certified plantita.
Huddle Time
Like others, we believe in the saying that two heads are better than one. But what if we make it four? hahaha 😅. That will be more complex, but much better, and livelier. Although it is more chaotic, but the ideas and adventures that we can share together are worth it. WE'LL MAKE IT WORTH YOUR TIME.
It's not what we have, but who we have. -Winnie the Pooh
Just like in Winnie the Pooh, we value each other so much, and as we embark on this new journey, it would be awesome if you'll join us through our thicks and thins, through this miserable, especially due to the pandemic, but worth awhile life we're all taking. There's a rainbow always after the rain. So let's just keep on holding on, sit back and enjoy reading our posts. FIGHTING!!!
Lastly, we would like to thank for introducing hive to us ❤️
Their future stories to tell will be so vast and diverse. Imagine having four brains to share different ideas and might end up in a disagreement. A feat that others might be so fearful to do, but they believe it is what will make their posts more exceptional and remarkable.
If you want to hear more of their stories, an upvote, comment, recommendation, and like would mean a lot to them. It would make them be more motivated and learn more as to what their audience thinks and wants them to tell more next time. Thank you and let us all keep safe.
