One of the most surreal view in the world, the Historical Peninsula Istanbul. Almost a painting!
Even though it seems like a model city on a small pond and matte painting sky on the back, I promise this is not a Monet either. I shot this photo today on a Bosphorus ferry while I was on my way to the Asian side of the city.
Istanbul is a trickster; those colors and texture make you think about your reality. That tingling in your neck, a rush of coldness to your fingers and for a single moment, you become a part of a Fellini film. It is so surreal, you can't get out from this deceiving landscape even if you repeat "Asa nisi masa" over and over again. So you better inhale the city and enjoy the view.
