Recently we have visited a very special festival at Mohács, Hungary - the Buso festival or the "Busó-walk".
So first of all you could ask what is a Busó, here you go:
Local people are dressing up in scary costumes for scaring the winter away! The festival originates to the 18th century (at least locally) and has a festive positive atmosphere.
The Busó's are also carrying sticks and rakes for occasionally poking people as well :)
Even children join the celebration. They have mini-sized costumes and masks to do so!
During the festival the locals are also parading with carts specially prepared for the event
