Well, Central Ohio apparently decided that it would be good to celebrate the first couple days of Spring with a nice coating of fresh snow! I'm super ready for some sunshine and warmer weather, but decided I might as well take advantage of the (hopefully last) pretty white stuff of the year and take some pictures.
My apartment building is right beside a main Columbus bike trail and on the other side of that trail is the Olentangy River (I'm looking forward to some warmer weather so that I can get back to fishing in the river, but that sure hasn't happened yet). Anyways, a short walk down the bike trail there are some nice wooded areas as well as a small wetlands that's maintained by (the) Ohio State University. I love that I'm able to live in the middle of a city while still having access to pretty nature within easy walking distance.
This morning I went out with my Fuji X-T20 before work and took some pictures of the fresh snow and the nature around it. There aren't any sweeping vistas or impressive mountains obviously, so I tried to find interesting details in the landscape around me. Here are a few of my favorites (I'm trying out some side-by-side pictures so that I can have a few more pictures in the post without making it super long, you can click on any of the pictures for a larger version!).
Low-head Dam (used a 6-stop ND filter on this one. Those things are fun!)

P.S. If you made it this far, what do you think of this format? Should I have put in captions of some sort? Is it too many pictures in a row without any words? Is the post too long? I'd love to hear some feedback. Thanks in advance!
