The Visita Iglesia
In the Philippines ,the Seven Churches Visitation is a pious Roman Catholic Lenten tradition to visit seven churches on the evening of Maundy Thursday.And being a Catholic Family, it is also part of our actvity to visit seven churches in Bulacan.Since the Holy Sacrament is place in the altar for special prayer every evening of maundy thursday ,i will show you the altar of the seven churches we visited.Here it goes :
This is the Sta Monica Church located in town proper of Angat ,Bulacan.This is the first church we visited,since it's only 5pm then , the holy sacrament is not yet place in the altar for prayer and vigil preparation.
This is the Sta Rita De Casia Church and the altar, the second church in our listing located in Binagbag ,Bulacan.It's already 7pm so you will notice the lights are turn on.
The San Pablo Parish Altar,the third in our listing.The location is near in our place, Niugan Angat,Bulacan.Very solemn ,the altar is surrounded by candles.
This is the Sto Niño church , located in Bustos,Bulacan.The altar reflects yellow color, with combination of lights focusing the holy sacrament.
The Mt. Carmel Church, this is one of the most visited church in Sabang Baliwag ,Bulacan .The place is huge that everybody can be accommodated.As you can see the altar solemnity is being observe always.The holy sacrament is located in the center of the church with bunch of red roses ,surrounded by candes also.
This is second to the last church we have visited last night of maundy thusday, the San Agustin Church, it is located in Baliwag proper. The altar's decoration is created with yellow colored banners with complete lightings.
This is the most unique altar of the church we have visited,The Sagrada Familia Church,located in Sagrada Baliwag ,Bulacan. The altar is created with green decors and a smoke that comes out from the back of the location of the holy sacrament.With capiz windows standing on the side of the holy sacrament .Then outside the church ,you will notice the group of young paritioners encouraging visitors to make a wish on the wishing altar. This is quiet different.
