This is the fruit of our ampalaya vegetable that was planted in our backyard. The vacant area that is inaide in our fence is not that big. We can only grow plants that it doesn't need more space. Ampalaya is fit for the small space because it can grow in a place where it can climb. This kind of vegetable won't occupied wider space in the ground. If you let it grow in the ground it won't bear fruits.

.This is how the ampalaya vegetable look's like. The root of it can be found of course in the ground but it can grow above. Well it's not the vegetable decide where it can grow because it depends if how you let it grow. It just that if you let the vegetable spread it's leaves in the ground it won't bear fruit. Ampalaya is like squash in growing but unlike squash, even if you let it grow in the ground it can bear fruit.
So yesterday I put plastic cellophane of each fruit to avoid insects that can harm from it. As I checked it today I noticed that the fruit are still damage. We don't put fertiliser and insecticide on it because it's for our basic needs only. Upon checking it I realised that maybe that's why it was damaged because I covered it with plastic it late. I put plastic when they're big already. My mother told me that if I out a plastic to cover the fruit, I should put the plastic when the size of it is like a finger. By that size not too many insects will attract on it yet.
Now today I make sure that I out cover of it all. It's not too hassle growing this kind of vegetable because you can't find many grass soround it. What I'm just doing of it every morning is to watering it and check if there's a fruit that it's ready to cook it. You don't wait for it to be ripened because I don't know the taste of it. So if you think that it won't grow bigger, you need to harvest it before it will be ripened.
Did you know what is this ampalaya vegetable? Have you tried eating it? It is very bitter but delicious. Just like your relationship, it's bitter but you still need it. Just kidding..
Oh look, I just planted a herbal medicine. It is called asitaba, it's good for kidney disease. If you're experiencing hard to disposed waste you can eat one leaves. It will be easier to waste after. Also if you have a hars time urinating. You can get 3 leaves on it and put it with a glass of water. Don't put too many leaves in the water or else you'll experience anaemic or lacking of blood..
If you want to have a healthy lifestyle, you should practice yourself to eat food that you're the one who planted it. Avoid putting chemical to make the plant healthy and bear fruits abundantly. Also it's better to have a herbal medicine rather than relying on drug's you can buy in drugstore. The might be made from herbal but there were chemical materials they out into it.
healthy lifestyle is only you can decide.
by the way try to use #mythursday tag to gain prize and have something to post every Thursday.
