Welcome to the first post in this new series I am starting. The idea is to share one photo for each day of the week - Monday to Sunday so here we go...
Monday
On Monday we put up our Christmas tree and other decorations but since I already shared about that in one of my previous posts, here is a photo of me, my niece and nephew doing some coloring. I enjoy this very much, I find it so relaxing and my niece is now old enough to have patience to sit down and finish an entire page in one go. My nephew on the other hand cannot sit still and he's always switching coloring pens, comes to sit with me, messes up my coloring... I was surprised to capture this photo where he was actually dedicated to coloring for more than 10 seconds, lol.
Tuesday
For a very long time now I have this 'tradition' of having my first cup of coffee from my owl mug and afternoon coffee from the mug I got as a gift from my brother when he visited Greece. Since all the decorations really got me into holidays mood, I switched things up and pulled out this festive mug that is a little bit smaller than the ones I usually use but it fits just the right amount of coffee I need in the morning. I actually have another festive mug that I might start using, since nobody else does. Sometimes it's nice to make these small changes in our everyday lives, as long as we feel comfortable with it.
Wednesday
A rose struggling to survive the end of December and maybe make it to the 2021.
Thursday
On Thursday me and my parents went to do some grocery shopping, get a couple of New Year's presents for niece and nephew so we don't have to worry about that. I also took this opportunity to get myself a pair of warm winter boots I can wear outside, when I go to the store, library, post office...
Friday
I had a pretty chill Friday afternoon/evening. I watched the Grinch for the first time and really enjoyed it! I think it will be one of those movies I'll end up watching (almost) every winter. These days I am in the mood of watching something in the evening, I am currently re-watching The Punisher - I paused it to write this post, then I'll continue :) even though it didn't make it on
my list of movies and series to watch this winter post I published yesterday, but I did leave some space for possible addition.
Saturday
I have spent Saturday evening setting up my journals for 2021. As you can see, I went a little bit crazy with this random winter vibes spread, but I really like it! I just did a couple of pages using up all the cut outs I had from magazines - I collected a decent amount and as I love setting up journals for every new year that comes, I guess I know how I'll spend these few days left in 2020. :)
Sunday
I have spent a good portion of my day making more journal spreads similar to the photo above and I have all set up calendar and habit tracker for January, 2021. bucket list, the ultimate (life) bucket list and few other pages... I also enjoyed a nice piece of cake and some blackberry wine as I was watching The Punisher. This is slowly becoming my set up now, laptop and food/snacks/drinks in bed and Christmas lights on. I am quite enjoying it so now that this post is coming to an end, I can go back to my cozy set up. :D
