This week felt like a really long one for me as the weather was so nice but I was sick which is not that unusual for me during this transitioning winter to spring period. I feel a lot better now but for two-three days I was just in bed, watching TV series and You Tube videos so I feel like getting back on track as tomorrow is not only Monday but it's a beginning of the new month. As soon as March comes, in my head it equals Spring so that makes me very happy and excited.
I am a very slow reader lately so even though this book by Hermann Hesse 'Demian' doesn't have a lot of pages and I enjoy reading it, it's taking me a long time to get through it. I am almost done and still have two library books to read so I guess I'll have to get more into it before it's time to return them. On the other topic, we are slowly starting to get ready for the new gardening season, planning and doing small tasks here and there. My dad trimmed grape vines and same should be done with blackberries, raspberries and other fruit trees.
We have two new cats around! They look exactly the same and showed up out of nowhere in my neighbors backyard. Now with the original five we have around, our cat gang is growing and we are definitely expecting babies in the summer since their mating season is now and there are enough males and females to start a few new generations. It's getting to a point where it's a little bit too much but they are still 'nobody's outdoor cats' so I have no idea what we're going to do. They are mostly at our and both of our neighbors properties but they also wander around and come back with an occasional male visitors during this mating season so it's an overall cat chaos! :D And another photo is from our garden on a nice, sunny afternoon - the weather was great this week!
