For more than a week now, the name EVANS has been trending everywhere you go in the country, a couple of my friends have also asked me what I feel about him but then I had told one of them, Let's imagine this together...
If this Evans man hadn't been caught, say in another 5 years, he'll become really powerful & rich. So rich he might just decide to run for Governor.
...And you know how our country works. He could probably win it. So right there, we'd have a Kidnapper manning the resources of one state.
"Your Excellency". He'll employ & appoint Professors & Intellectuals to work in his cabinet. Even our men of God would call on the citizens to support the able Governor that he's God sent.
...He"ll rule for 2 terms maybe & find his way to the National Assembly while he installs one Of his Junior Kidnappers as a successor Governor. Today there are many Evans in the lower and upper chambers of our country, there are many former governors who were once an Evans.
... That's the type of people that we are. We never really care to know how he became whatever hell become anymore.
...Once it appears rich, its Good enough. If you question. You become an Hater.
...Let's look at it from this angle. The so-called elites are hardly in any political party and they rarely find time to sit down and interact, educate and redirect the focus of those they consider as "political thugs and touts"!
The 'thugs and touts' register in political parties and participate in the political process to the best of their abilities. They get appointed & begin to take decisions that affect everyone, in one way or the other. But we, the 'powerful' elites, have learned the art of complaining & taking baseless positioning.
How will the likes of 'Evans' not continue to multiply and replenish the land God almighty has graciously bestowed on us as a Nation when we ignore our individual responsibilities!
We must wake up to our responsibility now and stop our apathy towards voting and electioneering processes.
The future of our country is in our hand as elites.
