This is my fourth time doing my own nails and the experimentation and learning has been so fun so far! I love that after each nail, I learn something new and at the same time improve.
This time, I want something gradient and cute. The result turned out to look like Cardcaptor Sakura even though I wasn't thinking about it.
Process
I have no pink and white gel polish (color) but I have polygel (the one you use for nail extension/ building) so I just used it alone.
I'm using the nail form stickers for the first time and I just learn from observing on video tutorials. It was really hard to use but satisfying when you know the nails below will be well-formed compared to when using a molder.
Doing nails reminds me of sculpture so much so don't be surprised why I love it. I hated sculpture most probably because I didn't have the proper tools so it was really hard to do but now since I have the resources, it feels like I'm just re-learning those skills.
Using these new gels was hard to control so I just used the previous one that I used and after it has been cured, I just build the pink and white on top. It created a gradient and I grinded them using a nail grinder and a file.
It looked like that. ^
After that, I added the blings and other stuff.
Result
Left hand
It's so cute lol. I love that the gradient effect gave me a strawberry milkshake vibe and the gold metal stuff reminded me of Cardcaptor Sakura (the anime).
Here are the thumbs. The one at the center of both is a pearl although just not that obvious in the photo.
Right hand
I enjoyed the process even though it took me 10 hours for both to finish.
I still have a lot to improve especially on the cuticle part cos I need to tidy them up more but overall I'm satisfied and this should last for 2-3 weeks. :>
