In a few days time I will become a proud father to a young daughter. This is my second child and up to this point I did play around with a few ideas how to name her. My wife and I did come to a short list of possible names but we did not decide on a certain name yet. I know what it is like to work abroad and pronouncing your name one letter at the time to the people around you – it is really annoying to have a nation specific name that sounds good in a specific region but is almost unpronounceable two countries away. That is why I would like to give her an international sounding name. We have two favorites at this point (Erin or Vita) but we did not make our mind up till now. Which is your favorite name?
