A team from mit has created a unique project that includes the development of the probe and its launch in the moment of rapprochement with the Earth.
In the framework of the scientific missions will be studied the characteristics of the asteroid, and considered the risks and possible solutions to prevent disaster.
The project was developed specially for NASA. If all goes well, the mission will start in 2026.
