Moon may be hiding huge amounts of
water!
After studying mineral samples brought back
from the Moon, researchers from Brown
University in the US now believe that there is a
huge amount of water under the lunar surface.
If this is true, it will be of great advantage to
humankind in future deep space missions.
The samples, collected by Apollo 15 & 17 in the 70s,
were found to contain similar volumes of water as found in Earth's basalt rock.
