From creative stories to mythology, family memories and ongoing narratives about natural medicine journeys, these posts were gorgeous, adding value to our home on the Steem blockchain.
wrote in his post that:
Story-telling is one of humanity's oldest endeavours. Shamans have used stories to pass culture on to descendants, to teach lore and law, and also to heal the body, mind, and spirit.
Indeed! We hope that you continue to share your natural medicine stories - they are important to us, and to you. We loved reading your stories over the last fortnight and thank all of you for sharing them. The entries for the Wisdom Challenge are as follows. Please go give at least few of them your love, as it means a lot to feel supported and valued, as you know. You might just make someone's day.

The Winner
As the Curie sponsorship doesn’t start until next Saturday, where we announce our new challenge, this week’s winnings are the usual 20 Steem, which we like to distribute between the entrants. It was super tough, especially with so many awesome last minute entris (you know who you are!). Poor ol' was here on a Saturday night doing last minute reading (and a little bit of crying over some posts!) and struggling to decide! Luckily a few of our core NM opted out of the prizes, otherwise I'd find it even harder!
5 Steem: This user had her job cut out for her to tell her family a different story of cannabis and it's power to heal so that they could accept their choices. We wish you luck on your healing journey.
5 Steem: - a crazy, Monty Pythonj-esque read - this person was the only person to actually write a story, and how can we not reward that? Thanks for the fun approach!
5 Steem: gorgeous post about her daughter’s illness with dengue fever and healing mulberries. She wove in mythology as well as family stories and some lovely photos too.
5 Steem: for his philosophical exploration of the stories he was telling himself, and the ones he chose to believe, in a really well written post.
Plus, we're also rewarding 2 SBI each to the following people for their wonderful stories: ,
,
and
.
Proof of winnings will be added as a comment to this post at some point soon! xx
Congratulations to the winners and thanks so much for your continued support of the Natural Medicine tag!
Keep an eye out in our Discord through the week for a heads up on the new Natural Medicine Wisdom Challenge, which will be officially announced next Saturday.
I'll leave you with a quote from our beloved curator and natural medicine student, , who writes about choosing to believe in stories of abundance - a story to believe in as we learn and grow together, finding our natural medicines all around us:
Susun Weed says "story medicine is about which story you choose to believe." Do you believe the story we're fed about the scarcity of resources that keeps you going to the store and looking to unnatural processes for your sustenance? Or do you believe the story that a one dollar pack of cucumber seeds can provide you with more fresh cucumbers than you can stand to eat in a summer?
